Joanna Karto founded J Artistry Clinic after five years across the NHS and the UK aesthetics industry, with a frustration she could not let go of. Clients were spending real money on treatments and coming away with surface-level results, no proper assessment, and no explanation of why their body had not responded the way they hoped.
So she built the clinic she would want her own family to visit. One where the consultation comes first, where the honest answer is sometimes "this is not right for you", and where skin, body, recovery and health are treated as connected rather than separate.

Yes, and most people are in exactly that position. You do not need to diagnose yourself or choose a treatment before you contact us. Book a consultation, tell us what is bothering you, and Joanna will assess what is appropriate and explain the options. If nothing we offer is right for you, we will say so.
Corrective skin treatments start at £89, laser hair removal from £30 for a single small area or £179 for full body, Wood Therapy from £85, lymphatic drainage at £75, post-operative recovery from £90 per session, and IV wellness from £120. Course and package options reduce the per-session cost. Each treatment page carries its full price list, or call +44 7591 092255.
For most treatments, yes. A consultation lets us assess suitability, discuss your medical history and agree a realistic plan before anything is booked. Some treatments, such as laser, also require a patch test. This is not a sales step. It is how we avoid recommending something that is not right for you.
It depends on the treatment and on how your body responds. Laser hair removal usually starts with around six to eight sessions. Body contouring and Wood Therapy generally need a consistent course rather than a single appointment. Post-operative recovery varies considerably by procedure. We recommend a plan after assessing you rather than applying the same number to everyone.
Most of our treatments are non-surgical and do not require the recovery period associated with surgery. You may experience temporary redness, warmth or sensitivity depending on the treatment. Chemical peels and microneedling have their own aftercare requirements, which we explain beforehand.
No, and that matters. Suitability depends on your medical history, medication, skin and the treatment itself. Some conditions, medications, recent procedures and stages of pregnancy mean a treatment should be postponed, adapted or declined. We assess before treating, and we will not proceed simply because an appointment has been booked.
Yes. We support clients who had surgery in the UK and overseas. Please bring your procedure details, surgeon information, discharge paperwork and any aftercare or compression instructions. Your surgeon's instructions always take priority. Our role is to provide recovery support within our scope, not to replace your surgical team. See our post-operative recovery care for details.
